Our first L8 Living Sustainably project ended earlier in 2018. We will not be adding new content to this blog.
We have a new project, Shared Places and Spaces in L8, which develops some of the work of our first project.
You can read about the project and its activities at our main website, GTDT.co.uk .

Feedback from that Blooming Green Triangle
Today we received a letter from the lovely Helen on behalf of "that Bloomin' Green Triangle" thanking GTDT for the support in helping their project beautify the area.
It has been so nice to work in partnership with this fabulous project and we hope to continue our work together.

Kids Summer Activities 2018
What a fabulous 6 weeks we have had.
We have held breakfast club here at GTDT every week day for the past 6 weeks.
We have visited the museum, been on a city bus tour, went crazy golfing, went to the pictures to watch Hotel Transylvania, attended 3 family fun days, had walks in the park and identified plants and birds and attended drumming workshops.
Take a look at our photos.

Loving Millennium Green
The weather threatened to rain in the morning but by the afternoon the sun made an appearance just as the event got underway. There was a great atmosphere with a wide variety of activities provided by our partners who as always didn't let us down. They provided activities as varied as make your own bird feeder ,create your own mosaic coaster, green your garden by making up a potted plant, relax by getting either a hand or back massage , pat a pony and relax by getting involved in some mindfulness activities. We also had our visit from Bulky Bob with some great preloved furniture and a large donation of used and new uniforms provided by the community through Tesco's Community Development worker from the Park Road store . A big thank you to everyone who came along, supported and got involved in making such a great event on Millennium Green.
